I truly love scrap quilts and my Scrappy Bear paw is not exception. All those bright happy scraps on a spring green background just makes my heart sing. Draped over the garden shed rail with my herbs and flowers in front seemed the perfect setting.
But to give you the full effect here it is on the garden shed wall.
I used leftover backing from three other quilts to make the back for this one.
I quilted leaves and streams in rows.
The binding is even scrappy. I didn’t quite have enough of my background so I found a green in my stash that was similar in color but had purple and pink flowers. I didn’t have enough of it either but combined it worked.
Linking up with Sarah, Amanda Jean and Cynthia.
It is so lovely. The bright colours, and all the different sized blocks adds so much interest. Great finish
