Sorry it has taken me so long to get the promised eye candy up. I meant to do it yesterday but when I went to schedule my state exam for my CNA they only had one opening and it was yesterday. Fortunately I had studied the night before and the exam wasn’t until the afternoon. So I headed off to school to review with my instructor before I took the test. I was needlessly worried. It wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be. Although I realized as I drove home that I did make one mistake. Don’t you hate that? Then today I had to go get pumped up with iron again. Darn my blood. It just won’t behave. But my body must compensate because it sure is hard to find a vein. It took four needle sticks before we found one that would work for the IV. GRRRR! Anyway enough of that, you’re waiting for eye candy. The first is from a quilt called Oh My Gosh. See those little pieces, they were about as big and the end of my pinky finger. And made this stunning quilt, so appropriately named.
This one reminded me of my little flowers. I really like the vine around it.
And this one in the style of Gwen Marston, sorry it’s sideways. I love all it’s scrappy wonkyness.
This applique quilt was gorgeous.
And a sweet little favorite of mine. These cute covered buttons set on loose weave linen and framed. I just might have to make one of these. I talked to the lady who made it. She said it was easy and fun. What a great way to show case bits of your favorite fabrics.
Oh my gosh!
I have the pattern for Ohmygosh! Someday….someday….
Great quilts. I love the flowers and vines
Love and hugs Gina xxx
All of them beautiful but yes, Oh My Gosh, is very appropriately named.
i love the covered button on very stunning the colours are great.
Sorry to hear about your IV problems. I love all the quilts! Eye candy for sure!! I found the pattern for the Oh My Gosh quilt awhile ago. I tried to make one of the nine patch blocks. It was so tiny I could hardly hold it. So I tried it using 1 1/2inch pieces instead of 1 inch That worked better. I really love this quilt and think that I may one day make it in a bigger size.
Wonderful eye candy there Em! Thanks for sharing!!! 😎
A scrumptious feadt – like you I am itching now to cover some buttons and frame them – so pretty!
I'm sure your test went well. I have an iron issue, too. Love the quilts.
That quilt is amazing!!! Those pieces are soooo tiny.
I agree with you. I think that button piece is a necessity. What a fabulous idea.
Glad the CNA exam went well. Four sticks???? Ouch. You poor thing.
Wow! OMG is a fantastic quilt!!!
Wonderful quilts! Thanks for sharing Em! 😎
