Don’t you just love homemade ornaments? They are full of love and memories. The care that goes into making them makes them extra special. I thought I would share a few of my love made, merry memory ornaments. I received this mitten in an ornament exchange from my quilt guild
Along with this cute little frosty fellow.
The Santa stocking was made by my beloved neighbor, Pauline. She is my children’s adopted grandmother. So nice to have a grandma across the street, especially when the other grandmas live miles and miles away.
This cute Christmas tree also came from my quilt guild. I love it’s primitive look.
I made a bunch of these candy canes one year. The little pocket is good for putting fun treats in. 
This year I took part in Chookyblue’s SSCS and here are the lovely ornaments Renee made me. Look at how precious this is. The time she must have put in to make it. I feel so blessed.
And this little guy just made me laugh. Isn’t he just too much. I had to share him with everyone that came to visit yesterday. Had to share the joy he brought. Now I’m sharing with you.

What a great post! I'll have to get my handmades out as well. Love the little frosty and boy that cute little Xmas tree is a-dor-a-ble! You're a clever one with the pocket candy cane. I like to think sometimes my pals are in my pocket with me when I go out into the world. This would fit. I bet I could make this but I wont go there because I'm not getting into the crafty mood yet. Although you are tempting me!!! (The ornament from Renee pulls at a girls heartstrings)
I, too, love all the beautiful and heartfelt handmade ornaments.
So cute! I think the mitten is my favorite. I won't be able to make any ornaments this year but I want to do some handmade ornaments.
When TheKid was younger, we made a new ornament each year.
BTW, I have been in contact with RoseMarie of Applique 'n Patch Quilting, who has been having problems getting into some blogs. Mine was one before I fixed it and one of the others is yours. What I did to fix it was to move the Followers widget down the sidebar a bit. You might want to try that because she can't be the only one who has this problem. I read on Bonnie Hunter's blog that she has had readers not able to get to her blog and that was her fix too.
Great idea to show your handmade ornaments. Once mine are out I'll share a few. For many years we've had an ornament exchange group so I've got some great ornaments. This year we decided to wait until after Christmas so we're going to do it in January!

My favorite thing to do when I go to a house all decorated for the holidays is to check out the ornaments on the tree! Always a history and memories. Yours are just wonderful. 🙂
Great homemade ornaments Em! They are what makes the Christmas tree so extra special… all the memories behind them… I still have some of the wonderful ornaments my children made as youngsters…

I can just feel the memories coming from your ornaments! Thank you. They also reminded me of my Mom's christmas ornament collection. She has amazing things from around the world, years of collecting and selecting. But our favorite was always the little angel made out of a wooden clothes pin…that mom made when she was 5.
i adore handmade ornaments. i have a tree reserved just for the handmade ornaments that my boys have made over the years. they're the best!
