You may remember this little piece I made a while back with a frame I had found at a garage sale. I had so much fun making it I knew I wanted to make more. So I’ve been on a quest to find fun frame to fill. Well, I hit the jackpot at a recent garage sale. Five fun yellow frames for a steal. Yesterday DD and I set about filling some. DD is into owls right now so I thought it would be fun to make one to put in her room. I did a rough sketch and set about cutting out pieces.
I still need to sew everything down. I found a few buttons in my button box for the eyes. They don’t match and I thought I might make a run to the store to get matching ones. But the mismatched ones are growing on me. I placed the frame over it to get an idea of how it will all look.
Makes me want to finish it up and start another.
