Anyone that has read this blog for very long knows I truly dislike cutting out fabric. I see it as the necessary evil. What has to get done so the fun can begin. But seeing neat little piles of freshly cut fabric makes me giddy with joy. These piles of potential call to me.
Create they say. Help me to become something great.
Do you have piles of potential in your sewing area?
Are they calling you?
Hope you find time today to answer their call.
I agree, I'd rather be sewing 🙂
looks like a fun quilt! Enjoy!
do you have a go cutter? I don't, but I'm tempted to get one sometimes, especially for cutting curved pieces.
I'm so with you. Cutting is not my thing, but I do love to see it when it's all ready to go.
I so agree about the cutting. It's quite tedious.:)
We really are going to have to trade someday 🙂 I just love cutting 🙂 And is that Wishes?? So fun you got some already 🙂
I dislike cutting fabric too!!!
Everything (except shopping and designing) is necessary labor to get to where I want to be, putting blocks into rows or units into the whole, whichever describes the current project. I have found that if I can cut ahead I am more likely to use small bits of time well sewing.
The cutting part is not my favourite. But I do like the little piles when I have some done.
i have a box of 1.5" squares that I sew postage stamp quilts from. I've made one so far but want to make a queen size. Tonight, they called me and I played!
