The free for all blocks are done. So I’ve been playing. My first arrangement went like this.
But then I realized, I arranged my blocks like this last time I made a free for all quilt. With so many ways to arrange these blocks, it seemed a shame to repeat so I rearranged them like this.
N came into to my sewing room and said that would look cool as a spiral. So I arranged a little more and came up with this. I think we’ve found a winner.
Now to find some time to sew it all together.
Love this…the colours are so fun.
Love your blocks! Love your colours!
Oops, I forgot to mention that I am in the process of posting some of my blocks. Come on over later and take a look.
I LOVE the last arrangement–will have to remember that when I do my next scrap quilt! Love it!
Very cool spiral! Bookmarked for future reference.
Love the spiral. So cool!!
I purposely did not read your post until I looked at all the layouts so as to not be influenced. I picked the same as you. Lots of interest that way.
Each version is fantastic Em..
This is great. I love the spiral idea. Beautiful, bright colors will be so fun on dark winter days.
I have been admiring this one, I thought it was time to tell you! Your colors are so happy, and that spiral setting is really cool. Another one I'd like to try ~
:-}pokey
Great quilt! Thanks for sharing. I just found you on Moda Bakeshop. I love the quilt using Kate Spain's new line.
Awesome quilt! Love the layout you chose.
This makes me want to sort all the blacks out of my postage stamps and start sewing. It looks great.
OMG girl! You may just have to make one for each layout!! How EVER will you choose!
I.LIKE.
I.WANT.
This is so much fun! I love your spiral arrangement. The blocks are so bright and cheerful. Love them.
