A few wees ago I shared this little block. Many of you asked about it and where you could find a pattern. I told you that I was working on a new pattern and that it was with one of my fabulous pattern testers.
While waiting for her to finish up I continued to work on my quilt. Here is mine using Coney Island by Fig Tree for Moda. I call it Posy Parade. The flowers are large and easy to make. It measures 59″ x 59″ making a nice child’s size quilt.
Here is my tester, Brenda’s quilt. She made it for her granddaughter, Ruby. I love her bright happy flowers.
In addition to Posy Parade I created Shooting Stars. Mary tested this one for me. Isn’t fun to see how different her’s is from mine. While I used cool colors she went warm. I love it changed the whole feel of the quilt.
I also love that we both chose the same quilting pattern. I told her that great minds think alike. She said the nuns at her school growing up said that but followed it with ‘fools seldom differ. I prefer to think of us as great minds.
Now that my wonderful testers have finished their good work, the patterns are available on my website. Linking up with Sarah, Myra, and Amanda Jean. Now for our winners. Did you think I forgot? The random number generator selected # 19,Valerie Reynolds and #9 Vicki in MN. Congratulations ladies. Please send me your snail mail and I’ll get your magazines off to you.
