Pressies From the Guild

By December 22, 2010March 31st, 2020Blog

Do you remember all the little spools I made a while back. Well this is what they were for; little mug rugs for my quilt guild board. I made extras also, I just loved them so much and those will go into another project. I wrapped them up with a Christmas mug, some hot cocoa, and Hershey’s hugs and kisses. Had to let my board know how much I love and appreciate all the help this year. I never could have pulled it off with out them. Then I was overwhelmed by the generosity of my little quilt guild. Martha gave me these sweet little fabric packs. Can’t wait to play with these pretties. I got this little fat quarter journal (three fat quarters wrapped around cardboard, folded to look like a book and tied with pretty ribbon.) A spool of thread with a cute little pincushion. You can never have too many pincushions. And a flying geese ruler. Thank you Vivian, Sue K and Suzy.

Then my most wonderful president elect, Michelle had the ladies each make me these fabulous bright scrappy stars. I am so thrilled with these and can’t wait to make something full of wonderful memories and love from these fine ladies.

Did you notice the little star above with the tiny pinwheel. That is from my sweet mini friend Sue T who also made me this cute mini with the great little quilt hanger. Sue does all things mini and she does them beautifully.

Boy, do I feel blessed to have these great ladies in my life.

Thank you sew very much!

You’re the best!
