I’ve been making slow but steady progress on my DWR Challenge. It nearly covers my bed now. I’ve got to kick it into high gear though, cause it needs to be done by Dec. 1. I’m a very slow quilter when it comes to getting a top quilted so I know I need to a lot a good chunk of time for that. And I’ve never bond something with an edge like this so I need to make sure I give myself plenty of time to learn.
So I’m sewing like crazy. Here is row six of seven almost complete.
And made fabric for the arc in row seven.
Crossing my fingers I can get it all done and be sleeping under it for Christmas.
Your dbl wedding ring is gorgeous! I really like the grey background…Julierose
Oh Em! It looks wonderful. Great job. I hear the binding isn't so bad to do on these. ox

It really looks spectacular, Em. You're almost there!
I'm very impressed. I made a double wedding ring and it took forever. You've seemingly whipped this up in no time. It looks great!
Your wedding quilt is absolutely wonderful!
Love it! That gray is wonderful with your other fabrics 🙂
Beautiful! This is going to look so incredible when it's done.:)
It's beautiful, Emily! Love that you're using made fabric for your arcs!
This is fabulous, scrappy, curviness!!! (if that's a word!) Love it 🙂
Stunning!
I'm impressed you machine quilt. The bigger the quilt the slower I am in making it, it seems. I send out quilts to be quilted. I think this will be a special one to sleep under. :o)
Your Double Wedding Ring quilt is fabulous. I love all the scraps you have used in it. Did you have any trouble with your made fabric when you cut out the shapes and resewed them into the arcs?
I had the same idea and have been making piles of scrappy fabric. I love your gray background – it's nice to see how it looks – I am still not decided on my background color. Yours looks Fantastic!
