I made bread so the kids would have something for sandwiches.
And to go with the pot of stew I let simmer on the stove for dinner.
I loaded the washing machine.
And while the oven baked, the stew simmered, and the washing machine whirled…
I had a quiet day sewing.
I made my Friday Block party block. Needed to get that done since there would be a new one today.
Then I sat and bond ‘Bing Zing’
Happy to say it is all done!
YEAH!!
Have a great weekend!
Em

Sounds like a very productive day for your! Bread turned out wonderful!!! I’ve never had much success baking bread… Though works well with one of those bread makers… if I use it!!!! Love your Bing Zing! I am going to have to buy and use some ric-rac some time!!! Love the effect!
Happy stitchings!
Ahhhhhh! That’s my kind of day!
I have been baking lots of bread lately too – nothing beats the smell of fresh loaves baking!
My favorite kind of day. I used to make bread years ago, but we just ate too much of it and had to stop, but cornbread is good with stew and soup too!
Well done Em, love the Spring colours in the block- like a vase with buds and flowers. 🙂
Well done for finishing too.
Hello Em, I love the colours you chose for the Friday block party block, very pretty…..a good feeling when the household chores are humming along. Regards Lyn
LeeHaven loves homemade bread and home cooked meals. I enjoy seeing you soak up all the goodness of the day my friend.
…and by the way, what a totally cool block. Dig it.
Em what a lovely stew and bread – I can just smell it. Thanks for coming by my site for a visit – you did tease me saying you learned a pansy song when you were little and then you didn’t leave the words – please share them!
