Take a scrap of fabric you love.
(I had to show you a swatch cause I cut mine up before I took a picture)Use it’s color scheme.
Cut into strips ranging from 1″-2 1/2″
Combine with Jodi’smethod for making scrappy patchwork blocks.
Mix and match blocks.
For a happy quilt top.
Thanks for posting this! I have yet to make a quilt that didn't contain an entire line, but I know I will want to one day. I have to do something with these scraps!
Very smart idea to use the colour scheme from a piece of fabric!
Aww Em, you know how sweet this is? It is. Plus it's super snuggly. Yep, very high snuggle factor. This says please do love me and snuggle under me. The more I look, the more I like. Especially because I think about how healing it was to create. I mean, the more one is into the creating joy of a sweet super snuggler – the better. All those healing vibes go into high gear. That's just true! *karendianne. who sometimes has a difficult time turning on those healing vibes herself but likes how you make it happen. 🙂
Thanks for this simple tutorial! I'm going to pass it on to all my ladies who say, "How in the world do you pick fabric for a quilt?"
Very nice! Thanks so much for sharing the link.
Fabulous and I love the colors you have used.
Oh Em! I love it!! I love your use of color/prints in this!! Very eye catching! 😎
Great job Em! Keep that mojo going!
I've gone one of your scraps featured this morning over at the Orphan Train. They are the center medallian for a newly begin Orphan Train quilt! Love your post..maybe eventually we'll convince the young gals to venture into "not all from one line" quilts *VBS* Hugs, Finn
Do I love this! Your use of colors with Jodi's tutorial really works!
Enjoy this quilt!
That's a good color combo. I like the large print shown at the top of the swatch set.
I love it!
