At the end of last year my friend Ruth posted on facebook about Quiltmaker’s Scrap Squad. I told her I wanted to be apart of it. She and my friend Suzy encouraged me to try. So I did.
And guess what I made it! WOW!!!! I’m so excited. This is going to be my year for scrap quilts. Between teaching every month a new scrap quilt, and then making one for every issue of Quiltmaker,I’m hoping to make a dent in these lovely scraps.
Is that possible?
My fellow scrappers are:

Now hopefully the third time is a charm with the winner for the traveling stash. Audrey from Quilty Folk you are the winner. Please send me your snail mail and I’ll get the traveling stash on it’s way.
You will so enjoy being in the scrap squad. I made so many friends during my year and had so much fun. You will love working with Diane. Hugs
I read one of your co-participants blog posts to learn about the scrap squad. How big do the quilts need to be? Anyhow, it sounds exciting for you and right up your alley.
It looks like so much fun. I always look forward to see how you use your scraps!
Love your scraps. I had never heard of the Scrap Squad, so I looked it up on the QuiltMaker's website. How exciting this will be! I am totally amazed how different those quilts look when they are made in scraps and different colours! Way to go Em! You and your stash will make fantastic quilts.
Congrats on the scrap squad! You seem like a perfect fit.:) Wowsers, can't believe I get the traveling stash! Promise me someone will still want it after I'm done with it? lol
What a great project! Look forward to seeing what you create 🙂
I can't wait to see what you do on the scrap squad. I hope you enjoy the experience. I would love to do it, but I need to clear up my UFO mountain before I take on the task.
I have so many scraps. I need to really start following closer to use up my big boxes of scraps.
That looks like fun!
Wow, congratulations, that's great! I'm looking forward to seeing your projects!
