Imagine my delight when I opened my mailbox today and found this lovely rainbow. I was part of Jane’s Rainbow Swap. I am so happy with these little beauties. What a pot of gold. Close up to let you see these lovely ladies work. The black block is by Kaaren. The dark green by Kathleen (not sure of her blog). The spring green by Barbara .
The blue by Cheri ( also not sure on her blog.) The lavender by KarenThe maroon by the lovely Jane herself.
The red is mine. The orange by Sherry And the yellow by Chen Thank you ladies for your beautiful work.
Any ideas on how to set these little gems?
What a fun collection! Love that orange one 🙂
I never heard of a rainbow block swap but it is all very interesting. Nice blocks. Do you have a plan for them?
What a fun swap! They will make a pretty quilt.
Very pretty! I would set them on point with sashing and cornerstones. It would be fun with solids for the cornerstones. Each one could be a different color of the rainbow.
Hi Em, what a great block swap! Not one I had heard of either. I think I’d favor sashing and cornerstones to set each one apart. What a fun project! Hugs, Finn
oooo.. so you got your blocks back! I think yours are the first I’ve seen now. Jackie’s idea of setting them together was good. Looking forward to seeing what you do.
How lovely, Em – now you will have to come up with a design!
Hugs – Lurline♥
Those are all wonderful. They will make such a pretty quilt.
The blocks are wonderful! An awesome swap!
Your Scrap Baskets quilt is awesome, and what a great reuse idea for a tote! Good for you! 😎
Hmmm, no new ideas but I’m sure you’ll get some good feedback. I love ’em. And I’m noticing there are a lot of Karen’s out there. Huh. Who knew?
*karendianne. :)~
Yours are darling. I should have joined 2 swaps. That’ll teach me. I was just looking at Purple Paisley’s blog. Her mom, Cheri was in your swap. I can’t wait to see what you do with them (first)!
How wonderful! It looks like a lot of hard work went in to make those.
How lovely! Scrappy borders? in all colors? Oh you will have fun playing with these
Kris
Those are great! That is going to be a wonderful quilt with all those wonderful colors.
