Welcome to Scrap Happy Summer. Sorry I’m a little late getting going this morning, to many late nights and early mornings made it hard to pull myself out of bed. Well I made 11 more crumb blocks add the sashing and a border and wha la! I call it crumb cake. I am so glad Belinda posted the crumb blocks she was making on her blog and reminded me of my original six. I am really pleased with how this turned out. I think I will count it as one of the 5 charity quilts I promised Trisha I would make before my next birthday. Just need to get it quilted along with about 5 other quilts. Does anyone else have this problem? Well what scrap happiness have you been creating at your house. Link up and show us. Remember to include pictures of your progress and a link back here so others can join in the fun. Thanks
Great idea to use our scrap happy quilts for charity! And yes I have a quilt top problem. I would have a lot more quilts if I would just get that stack of tops quilted.
It looks great, Em.
I love your crumb blocks! Great charity quilt.
Your crumb cake quilt looks great. the nice uniform sashing ties it all together so well. Only 1 more quilt in my "to quilt" pile. The end is in sight.
I think your scraps look better than mine! LOL. I have one block so far but will see how I go…
Love your crumbs! Very pretty!
Hello Em, still scrapping. I'm sure I've signed up once, perhaps it didn't work.
I love crumbs. Gives me motivation to put mine together.
Whoops–I just put the link on last week. Well, maybe next week I'll have another project and be ready to join in.
Wow Em…you certainly got busy on your scraps….LOL….maybe I should re-inspire myself…you have done A LOT more than me!!! I got sidetracked with those cute little butterfly blocks!!
Your crumb cake quilt is fantastic!
I love the crumb name. Great job. Love how the dark sets off the blocks.
