Summer time is a great time for a road trip. And what do you do with all those hours on the road? How about a nice hand project. Gather scraps, cut into desired shape, cut foundation pieces, pack into a little sewing kit and your ready.
So while hubby and sons drive I’ll be making these. 
Hopefully it will make the miles fly.

You are so lucky if you can sew in the car… I can't do anything or I'm sick… love the block – and have a great time on your holiday!
I'm not a good passenger so I normally do all the driving. I take hand work on vacation with me though but not for the car.
