Scrappy Bear Paw Sew Along

You may remember that I recently taught my Scrappy Bear Paw at my local quilt guild. I’m thrilled with how excited everyone has been with there quilts.  Here are a couple more finishes. LaRae did her’s in batiks. This picture in no way does it justice. I have yet to  find a way to get a good picture at the center where we meet.  Sorry.

Here is my friend Jean’s, and if you pop over to Ruth’s blogyou can see her’s.

Well, with Monday being Memorial Day and the official kick off of summer. And summer being the time I like to have a fun scrappy theme going on my blog. All these scrappy bear paws got me thinking, wouldn’t it be fun to have a sew along? We will take things slow. It is summer and we all know gardens, kids, vacations, etc. cut into our sewing time. Because of my contract with Quiltmaker you will need to get your pattern from them if you don’t have their Jan/Feb issue.   You can get your pattern here   Then meet back here next week for the first step and consequent Wednesday’s for each step. There will be giveaways along the way and different methods to make all those hsts. Then a link up at the end to share our Scrappy Bear Paws. So grab the button and pattern and we’ll see you next week.

I'm thinking I might want to do this but I can't get the link to the pattern to work. Thanks

Those are wonderful finishes. It is fun to see them in different colorways.

Hi emily – just a note to say we sent a box out to you yesterday from the Hands2Help initiative – hope you can find a good home for the two quilts inside!
I love this sew along – I really, really don't need another thing to do – but will likely do it anyway – – ha ha……..
