How are you coming on your scrappy bear paw. So far we’ve done a lot of cutting. This week we get to do a little sewing. We will be making all our 1″ finished hsts. I used my Nifty Notions ruler for mine. I’m still pulling out of my bits bin and this method worked well for me. Once they were all cut I just chained them through my machine.
When I taught my class a lot of the ladies used Triangles on a Roll. This is a great method if your scraps are around 8″ wide. As the 1″ finished hst roll requires 7 3/4″ width. This width will create 8 hsts per row. A whole roll gives you 1200. Now that’s a lot of hsts. Pat, from Triangles on a Roll, has generously donated 3 rolls.
Three lucky winners can use them to make the hsts required for this weeks portion of the sew along. Just leave a comment telling me how your coming along on the sew along. Are you on schedule? What fabric’s are you using; brights, Civil War, batiks, etc? I’ll pick a winner on Monday. Good luck! I your new to the sew along details can be found here.
I am behind as usual. Brights are my go to!
Thanks for the chance to win the triangles on a roll!

I've been following your posts, just haven't started yet. Would love to win triangles on a roll.
I too have not started. I never used triangles on a roll.
