A friend of mine rather unexpectedly lost their dog last week. Sick one day, into the vet, surgery, complications and now her beloved dog is gone. She is so sad and I wanted to do something. I’ve made Denyse Schmidt’s Scottie Dog before and that it would be a nice pick me up.
Not a replacement but a happy reminder of her beloved dog.

My Grandma made one of those for my son – her first great grandkid – over forty years ago, and I made one for his son over 21 years ago. It's a great design for a stuffed toy.
