“Color takes the credit while VALUE does the work” words of wisdom from Mary Lou Weidman. While at meet the teachers I found the perfect product for working with value in your quilts. Giving them that pop we all desire. Meet Joleene Kooyman, president of Sew Red Glasses. What a fun lady. What an amazing product. Her Sew Red Glasses are a must have for any quilter, especially a scrap quilter like myself. They allow you to see values without being distracted by color or pattern. You don’t have to take my word for it. See that picture to the right of Joleene? Yep, that’s Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Co. and she was wowed by them also.
No longer will I be running upstairs to find my camera. Set it on black and white and test my quilts. I’ll just slip on Joleene’s Sew Red Glasses. Then as I arrange things on my design wall I’ll just keep them on and step back for a peek until I find the right combo.
Joleene has generously offered to give one of you a pair. To enter like Sew Red Glasses onfacebook then come back and leave a comment. Good luck everyone! I’ll pick the winner Friday.
Thanks for the giveaway! Great idea–the glasses, seem much handier than just trying to look through the piece of plexiglass.
I have seen these and have been thinking about ordering a pair. Looks like a great idea.
I have a pair of these and just love them. You don't need to enter me in the giveaway.
Sounds wonderful! Should make fabric placement so much easier.

I need all the help in the world to place fabric colours correctly lol

If Jenny Doan says it then it must be so!!! 🙂 I went over and like the facebook page!
Very fun idea!
I went over and liked Sew Red Glasses. I think these will go on my wish list.
What a great idea! Thanks for the giveaway!
Those are cute and neat!
What a smart idea! Much easier than doing the B/W photos
As a camera runner, then computer runner to download and edit to B/W, I could use a little instant gratification!
I saw these glasses on an Eleanor Burns' video. What a great idea! Thanks for the opportunity!
