I have found memories of learning to sew. My mom gave me my first machine when I was around ten years old. She had won it in the state fair. I now have a sweet little daughter that is the years old and now I’m creating memories with her. This is her playhouse. This weekend we bought a curtain rod and together we made curtains. She is creating quite a cozy little spot. It’s kind of dark inside not great for pictures so you’ll just have to take my word. Speaking of sharing; I have learned so many wonderful tips over at Stash Manicure. I’m thrilled to get to share a few of my own today. Welcome if you are visiting from this great site. If your one of my faithful friends pop on over and see what I posted there.
Thanks for stopping by. Would love it if you shared a comment. I love comments!
Great post at Stash Manicure, Em! I love that star quilt:)
I enjoyed that post. Got something out of it, too – my brain grew. 🙂
You must also be a true Bonnie Hunter fan – wonderful scrappy quilts. Thanks for sharing all. Judy C
It is so much fun to share your passion of sewing with the younger generation. I am so glad she is interested.
Off to visit SM!!!
I loved your post on Stash Manicure. Good Job!
I was so happy to read your post at Stash Manicure as I too want to be a scrappy quilter. The colors are so energizing on these quilts. Loved your post and love your quilts!
I loved reading your post at Stash Manicure this morning. I left you a note there, too. I'm inspired by you to pull out my own bins of fabric cuts and get scrapping…after I finish the King quilt for my newlywed son & DIL.
How fun to help decorate your daughter;s playhouse. I am going to head on over to Stash Manicure and see what is going on.
Great job on your Stash Manicure post.
Congratulations on your guest post.
I'm just beginning my venture into the world of scrap quilts and loving it – along with teaching myself to quilt as I go, totally into that one.
Great guest post on Stash Manicure and may your daughter keep her love of sewing as she grows. Looks like a wonderful cubby to hang out in.
