Last week I had fun sharing my love of scrappy quilting. The first class I taught was Stellar Stars Caught in a Web. (You can read the story of this quilt here.)
Peggy was focused and got two blocks done. She was worried about the yellow in her quilt. I thought it really added interest.
Lori’s blue star’s really pop!
Lots of other stars were partially finished all are beautiful.
My next class was Mad Dash. It was tons of fun. the ladies were so fun.
At first they were a little worried about breaking the rules and not having things match up.
But once they got going some pretty great blocks were made.
And everyone was pretty pleased with the results.
Tomorrow and Friday I will be at Quilts Etc for their annual school house. I’ll have new patterns and be teaching how to use Triangles on a Roll. Stop by and see me if you are in the area. I’d love to see ya.
