I had a hard time getting a good picture of my newest star quilt yesterday. I wanted to capture the yellow and green in my yard with the beautiful blues, greens and yellows in my quilt.
The wind and the lighting did not want to cooperate. It may have been better if I could have taken the picture earlier. But I hadn’t finished the quilt yet.
Or later but our family had a Halloween party we were going to so I just had to work with what I had.
I think I like this photo best.
This quilt is done in the fabric Sunday Supper by Sweetwater for Moda. I quilted it with an allover clam shell design. It is child’s size and will make a nice baby/little boy quilt. Nice to have a couple of those put away for quick gifts. Linking up with Sarah, Myra, and Amanda Jean to celebrate my star of a finish.
I really like this quilt. It is great for a boy, not very juvenile, which I like.
It's beautiful! I love the soft colours! It looks very cuddly!
This time of year it is so hard to get good pictures! Your quilt is so pretty! Love the color combination!
Your quilt is beautiful and the pictures are good. Love it!
Super finish, really nice contrast and colors.
That looks great. I was thinking of the same quilting pattern for it when I saw it.
It's gorgeous, Emily!!!
Your shooting stars are beautiful!!
I love the scrappy points of the stars where from afar some points blend with the background. It gives a real random feel to the overall look. Beautiful palette as well!
Very pretty, such a lovely colour scheme, well done!
Love your Shooting Stars, that is what I called it before I saw your name for it. Thanks for linking to Finished or Not Friday.
Love it. I've been loving gray!
I love this! Can't wait to see this fabric line in person 🙂
Just delightful! I'm finishing up my 3rd baby quilt to 'have on hand' and it already has a destination! Enjoy your weekend!
I love this! Your stars just twinkle!
Great little quilt! I love the clam shell quilting. It gives such wonderful texture 🙂
