I don’t know why this didn’t work the first time. So lets try again.
It’s National Girlfriends and Sister’s Week and I just had to share this email my mom sent to me. It made me laugh and I wanted to share.
I don’t want to brag or make anyone jealous or anthing, but I can still fit into the earrings I wore in high school.
I am only as strong as the coffee I drink, the hairspray I use, and the friends I have. To the cool women who have touched my life. Here’s to you
It is good to be a woman:
1. We got off the Titanic first.
2. We can scare male bosses with mysterious gynecological disorder excuses.
3. Taxis stop for us.
4. We don’t look like a frog in a blender when dancing.
5. No fashion faux pas we make could ever rival the Speedo
6.We don’t have to pass gas to amuse ourselves.
7. If we forget to shave, no one has to know.
8. We can congratulate our teammate without ever touching her rear end.
9We never have to reach down every so often to make sure our privates are still there.
10. We have the ability to dress ourselves.
11. We can talk to the opposite sex without having to picture them naked.
12. If we marry someone 20 years younger, we are aware that we will look like an idiot.
13. We will never regret piercing our ears.
14. There are time when chocolate really can solve all your problems.
15. We can make comments about how silly men are in their presence because they aren’t listening anyway.
Hope you had a good laugh! Thanks for being the wonderful women that inspire me and touch my life.
Soooo true!!! Love this list. Thanks for your inspiration in our lives as well.
Love it!
Thank you for the morning chuckle.
LOL Fabulous!!! I HAVE to share this one—hope you don't mind if I borrow it. 😀
That was absolutely hysterical! Thanks for sharing! And thanks for being you!
Too funny! But true. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for re-posting – I loved all of these – and my husband said to tell you HE heard all of that list of 15!
So true and so funny! Love my sister – she will drop everything and come running at oh-dark-30 in the morning. And my Stitching Sisters are the best friends ever. Thank goodness for them.
Well, not always on #13. I pierced my ears when I was 21 and wouldn't do it again. But, that said, being a woman is really nice.
I can still wear earrings I wore in high school too. that was 40 years ago!
Oh I love your post!!! Soooo true!! Hugs, Mary
