It’s the first Wednesday in our Scrap Happy Summer celebration. I’ve worked real hard the last couple of days to get my Three Red Hot Kisses quilted. I finished about 8:00 last night. Now I just need to bind it.
I wanted to finish it because it is a great use of scraps. Especially if you use a lot of pre-cuts. My tute for pre-cut friendly x and + blocks is here. I added a solid stop border to give the eye a place to rest then added a border of 2 1/2″ squares. Also from the scrap bin.
I’m planning to bind it in the solid green I used in the stop border. I’m looking forward to this finish. Now that the quilting is done. Something I thought would never end. I’m a really slooooow quilter. And this one seemed to be never ending. But thank heaven it did!
Because I’m really in love with this scrappy quilt!
What scrappy project are you working on?
I’d love to hear about it.
Don’t forget to post pictures on the flickr page.

Stunning! You make it look so easy! I am working on many scrappy projects at the moment. I will post a photo of one of them on your Flickr page soon.
Scrappy wonderfulness! I really like how that looks. Sigh … another one for the bucket list! Extending my longevity, one quilt pattern at a time.
I love scrap quilts and this one is beautiful!
