This month’s Scrap Squad quilt was a fun one for me. I love the illusion of curvy lines and the movement they create.
Rummaging through my scrap bins to find the right fabrics is always a favorite past time.
Finding the right color placement as I made the blocks.
Then playing with the blocks to create the flow and movement I wanted.
You can read all about my process here, at Quilty Pleasures.
I like the Stars At Sea quilt. The design creates a very good illusion of movement without a lot piecing that isn't fun.
Love the movement in the quilt xxx
I stopped by Quilty Pleasures…and love seeing the two finishes side by side. I LOVE yours! Love that it;s so full of color and movement! It just makes me happy!!
