I joined Victoria’s 12×12 challenge over at 15 minutes play. I had a great time with it. At first I did not know what direction I wanted to go in. But when I saw how overflowing my blue scrap bin was I knew it would have blue in it. Then it snowed yet again yesterday and I knew I needed something sunny and warm to brighten my day. So I grabbed strips of blue and pieced them into a wavy ocean and added a warm sunny sunshine and Wha La. Sun and Sea was born. I just need to quilt and bind it and send it off to it’s new home.
Very nice, Emily. I am sure it will be loved at it's new home.
LOVE this. It was grey and rainy day here so I'm channeling the sunshine.
Very cute!
Ohhhh! Nice! That would make a great journal quilt. We have more rain today. Maybe I should make one.
I'm so ready for some sun and sea – nine days away for me!!!
By the way, it's a beautiful block!!!
It looks like holiday, well done.
It's a very special postcard/quilt!
Beauty…well done 🙂 !
I love it 🙂
Wow this is great! And sure to warm the heart of whoever gets it. Hope spring comes soon! It seems to be late this year…
Well how cute is that!
It looks free and modern yet scrappy and vintage. I love when those looks combine. So incredibly cute.
BRILLIANT! I can feel summer coming on!
That's lovely!
