I like stars in quilts. They make things twinkle. So whether the are randomly placed in a quilt like my header or evenly spaced.
In sashing around a simple square of fabric or a block.
Precise or wonky
Subtle or bold
They always put a twinkle in my eye.

I really like Sawtooth Stars and Ohio Stars but yes, stars of any kind make quilts twinkle. :o)
I love stars too, I've been doing some wonky ones lately that have been fun and use up some scraps at the same time. I love those red and pink polka dotted ones in your picture.

I love stars too. I have done lots of stars quilts including a stars quilt-a-long. I think that was my favorite because it had all different stars 🙂

I really like Callie's Oh My Stars pattern shown first. I made one this last year, and it was a great way to use up scraps.
Stars do bring a smile! I've wanted to make one of the wonky star quilts for a couple of years, but I did do a table topper with a couple of 'em.
