WAGI~ Tradition

Merry Christmas!  Whether we are ready or not it is here.  Hope you enjoy your holiday with friends and family.  That you find time to reflect on the wonder and beauty of this special time of year.  A time that so often brings out the good in people.

I thought it would be fun today to share favorite traditions.  A few of mine are; the week before Christmas everyone in our family gets to sleep under the Christmas quilt to insure our Christmas dreams come true, giving of the three gifts, and decorating gingerbread houses.   This last one is more of a engineering feat at our house than a decorating thing.  It’s a boy thing.  Who can build the biggest strongest house wins. Now what are some of your favorite traditions?  I would love to hear how you make this time of year special at your house.

Love hearing about your Christmas traditions! The at-home kids and I make sugar cookies and everyone helps prepare the pile of snacks for Christmas Eve (even the boys). It's pretty laid back, but we're all together so it's fun.:) Merry Christmas!

Love your idea for the 3 gifts. I guess our only tradition is me making and gifting fudge.
    Merry Christmas Hugs

Well the big bad Christmas wolf probably won't be able to blown down the structurally sound gingerbread houses! Have have breakfast for Christmas Eve dinner and open friend gifts. Also the reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas never gets old, no matter what age the "children." Merry Christmas
