I missed my post on Monday. Sorry about that. Life has been full and something had to give. Still not a lot of quilting related items to show. I promise soon there will be. I’m getting ready to release five new patterns. They are tested and I’ve received the fabric. I’m busy now getting them all sewn up.
I’ve also been doing a little landscaping. This little corner of my yard use to have ahalf pipe, my boys built way back when I started this blog. Now that my boys are all in college the half pipe is gone and I needed to do something with the weed patch it had become. My Josh tilled it for me and I’m working on separating a garden area from the grass.
Tuesdays are very busy around here. Yesterday I had a Happy Chemo Sew in to make a few quilty hugs with friends. Finished up all the blocks for one of my new patterns and started putting them together. I was rushing to get dinner to a stage so that Anna could finish it up while I was gone and I burned my finger. Ouch!
But no time to fuss I was off to the Boys and Girls club. Once there I was feeling better in no time. Several of the children made me pictures. Didn’t they do a beautiful job?

Sounds like your days have been very full. You could use some speech recognition software so you could dictate your blog and then go back and add pictures.
Oh I wish I was at the Happy Chemo sew-in…. I have a box half-packed to send to you (from Sarah's H2H initiative)… but ran into a problem – I had one box too small, one box too big – so am making another quilt to help fill up the too-big box !!!! Just a little delay…. for a good reason !
Ouch. I hope it feels better soon. I'm looking forward to seeing the new patterns.
Seeing your burn I have to tell you the best thing for it, lavender oil if you rub some on it immediately it will not blister, it is amazing stuff! I love your projects!!
My boys built a half pipe years ago when I was away on a business trip for work. I couldn't believe DH let them do it! They even had to get a building permit for it. They had fun with it for a while and we finally got rid of it. Those days are long gone now.
