You may have noticed a few changes to my blog. I’m excited to be an affiliate for Accuquilt and Craftsy. I love both of these companies. As you know I recently acquired a Go. I have made these two quilts using my Go.
I love how quickly I’m able to cut things out so I can get to the fun part of sewing.
I buy a lot of my supplies through Craftsy, mainly Aurifil thread. I watch for it to go on sale and stock up. I can fit tons on a bobbin. A great bonus, because I often sew miles without bobbin thread. GRRR! The fact that I can fit more on a bobbin means I do this less often.
I thought it would be fun and informative to share what soap my family has in the shower. My family is my best customer when it comes to my soap. My two boys, who have moved out, come and stock up or ask me to send them more (Alex lives in Washington) Anyway I thought by sharing what we had in the shower would let you see that we use it and how long it lasts.
When the previous bar becomes a sliver I put it on the top of the new bar. That way we don’t waste a bit of our skin lovin’ soap. When you visit my Etsy shop you will notice I’ve changed the name and begun to add my patterns. Take a minute to look around and let me know what you think.
I hope you like the changes. Thanks for visiting, I do appreciate it.
Love your soaps. Just put a new bar in the shower last weekend. They smell nice in the cabinet too. Glad you like your go. I have had mine for several years and have soooo many o the dies. I just broke down and purchased the alphabet one. My favorites are the tumblers and the Drunkard's Path dies.
You are really going to be productive with your GO if these two tops are any indication. I love your soap too.
Die cutters are awesome tools – congrats on the new affiliate gigs. Need to go investigate your Etsy shop.
Love your soaps.
The new look to your Etsy shop is colorful and inviting. I'm going back to check out those patterns 🙂 I'm glad to see you are still loving your GO! What fun to have the process go faster.
I have considered buying an Accuquilt, I think it would be a lifesaver on my wrists. So one of those is on my Wish List.
Chuckling as I read. Not many blogs go from a quilt to soap use in one breath:) I can't believe how long the soap I bought from you is lasting – still loving it.
