I went to lunch with a group of friends yesterday. It was so nice to chat and reconnect. Maureen and her sister, Tonya gave me this very fun bag. It is the perfect size and has pockets to keep track of things. Don’t you just love it? Can’t wait to put it to good use.
Joan gave me this cute chicken. I love the way his legs dangle as he sits on my piano. He makes a good neighbor to the bowl of dotty fabric and my ‘Live Happy’ sign.
I came home from lunch to find a box of more quilt treasures. Diane from Quiltmaker sent it as a thank you for my work on the Scrap Squad. I spent a quiet evening pursuing these little pretties.
I’m ever so grateful for the blue fabrics to add to my stash. I never seem to have enough of them. The Quilty Quote pins will find homes on some of my bags. And who can’t use more thread?
Now I’m off to the gym before someone actually does call me a Fat Quarter. 🙂 Oh that I didn’t like food so much.

Fabric and thread as a reward for the gym- sold! I only get to read my book on the bike or if at home (on the weight machine that DH bought and never uses), tunes on my iPod. Keep it up. Take it from a moldy oldie, it is worth the sweat!
