
Another Wild Goose Wednesday, hope your ready for a fun block. This one is simular to a Dutchmen’s Puzzle so you know I love it. Once again if you need a refresher on making the geese go here.
If you are using the Nifty Notions ruler you will need:
from 3 1/2″ strips 4- quarter square triangles for geese and 8- half square triangles for the sky
from 2 1/2″ strips 4- quarter square triangles for geese and 8- half square triangles for sky
from 1 1/2″ strips 4- quarter square triangles for geese and 8- half square triangles for sky
If your not using the rulers you will need:
4- 3 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles for geese and 8- 3 1/2″ squares for sky
4- 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles for geese and 8- 2 1/2″ squares for sky
4- 1 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ rectangles for geese and 8- 1 1/2″ squares for sky
In addition to your geese you will need 16- 2 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ rectangles
Sew a 2 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ rectangle to either side of your 2 1/2″ tall geese.
Next sew a 2 1/2″x 1 1/2″ rectangle to either side of your 1 1/2″ tall geese.
Line up your geese in as shown and sew rows together.
Arange your pieces as shown and sew together.
Your block is done. YEAH!!!
