Have you seen the new Fons & Porter’s Easy Quilts? It is full of quick fun quilts. I was thrilled when I got my issue for more reasons than one. I drew inspiration from Cynthia Brunz’s Bamboo Shoots and Tony Jacobson’s Ode to Blanche.
It was also very exciting to see my Ziggy Granny in print. I had so much fun making this quilt. I loved working with American Jane’s Ducks in a Row for Moda. I love the bright happy colors.
Combining two favorites; Granny Squares and Chevrons made it a delight to make. Just a few blocks and it was done.
Someday I will remember to take pictures of my quilts before I send them off. I’ll share it up close and personal when I get it back.
Congratulations on another publication, Em! I really like your quilt. What a great idea to combine two very popular styles.
Funny- I earmarked your quilt when I got my copy! Congratulations on a great quilt!
