Hugs and Inspiration

Like I mentioned Monday, Quilty Hugs have started to arrive at my home thanks to Sarah’s H2H.  Here are the first three. I love them all but the chicken one is way fun. The binding fabric has fried eggs on it. That made me smile. Thank you Kathleen and Louise I know these quilts will being comfort and hope. Louise I apologize I’ve been unable to send you a thank you note. Someone at my house recycled the box that your wonderful quilt came in before I was able to get your return address off. Please know that your quilt arrived safe and is appreciated.

I thought if fitting that today, as I prepared this post, that the inspiration for this whole Quilty Hug’s thing gave a TED talk. Now I knew this was in the works but today it is available on YouTube. I feel so blessed that Ginger came into my life. She has been an inspiration to me on so many levels. She is strong, kind and optimistic. Here is her TED talk. Prepare to be lifted and energized. She is truly amazing.

Wow! This is powerful! I waited til I had time to really listen and I listened twice. I’m a Stephens minister and this is so true. Without hope you cannot get to the next door/part of your life.
