Quilting and Traveling

May was a whirlwind for me.  I enjoyed quilting and traveling, while meeting amazing quilters like you.  It was fun to share ideas and help quilters on their creative journey.

At the beginning of the month my friend, Lorri and I headed to H+H Americas.  It was fun to connect with friends and see what they are offering the quilting industry. Aunt Em's Booth at H+H Americas

I was thrilled to introduce my Quick Win Program to shops.  This program is designed to help shops cater to new and younger quilters.  By providing simple and quick projects that build confidence while growing skills.  A collection of easy sewing projectsThe projects also appeal to experienced quilters in they are fast to make and are perfect for gift giving.  The 12 projects make it easy for shops to help customers return, buy and learn.  If the projects and sense of community appeal to you.  Be sure to let your local quilt shop know.  Shop owners can click the link for details.

Next I was off on a cruise to Mexico and Honduras.  Where to my surprise a monkey jumped on my back.

During the days at sea I taught my Shooting Stars pattern to a lovely group of quilters. It was fun to see quilt blocks come together.Quilter with star quilt block

I especially loved seeing it in a totally different colorway.Pastel stars quilt with white background

After the cruise I headed into the mountains for girl’s camp with these amazing young ladies and leaders.  Young women in front of a log cabin in the woods.

We had fun hiking, canoeing, doing a ropes course, and building faith in our Savior.

It was an amazing month!
