Moving it Forward

I took all my half square triangle play added a few orphan blocks. Here is what I have so far.

I’ll fill in the gaps with a few more flying geese strips and some scraps. I can’t tell you how much I love this kind of creativity. Watching all these orphans find homes and seeing how well everyone plays together is very fulfilling.

What creative things have you  been up to. Link up and share your progress.

I have orphan blocks but I am afraid to try putting them together – yours is great and inspiring

Interesting arrangement.. and panels of flying geese bring together many mismatched blocks.. and one can tweak it endlessly… tho at some point whole quilt says "I am done."

Your orphan blocks are looking very good with the layout. It looks like you planned to do it that way all along. Thanks for sharing your pictures!!! –Andrea

Funny how you wrote about this today! This morning my daughter and I were talking about how proud and happy we are of the projects we create solely from our stashes! I just love orphan block projects! Gonna email your post to her! Thank you so much for sharing!

I like seeing how quilters become creative and use what's there to be used.
