Quilting for your home

Scrap quilt and throw pillows on couch

While I love to sleep under a homemade quilt.  There are so many more ways to use scrappy patchwork.  Today I’d like to focus on how you can use quilting for your home.  Enabling you to add splashes of color and decorate for seasons and holidays.  While giving a personal, handmade warmth to every room.

Home isn’t just where we live.  It’s where life happens.  Make your home feel warm, welcoming and uniquely yours.  Add a touch of color with throw pillows, table runners and mats, as well as wall hangings.  These smaller projects take less time and are an easy way to refresh your decor without redecorating.

Handmade Home Decor Ideas

Besides pillows and wall hangings you might want to try table toppers and runners.  Quilted baskets also add a nice homey feel.  Hot pads and appliqued dishtowels are another cozy touch.  Flowers in a vase on a quilted spring table runner
