I was thrilled when Victoria asked me to be part of the Double Wedding Ring Quilting Challenge. I had so much fun with the Dresden Plate Challenge. Although I must admit I’m a little intimidated by a double wedding ring quilt. But here’s to stretching myself and jumping in with both feet.
After browsing books and the internet for ideas. Doing a little mixing and matching and adding a little of myself. I think I’ve formed a plan. And while it’s not set in stone. My plans tend to take on a mind of their own and often end up a little different than what I originally thought. But I’m gathering my supplies and going forward.
You too can join in the fun. In fact I have a set of templates to give away to get you started on this challenging but oh so fun adventure. There are really cool prizes that are oh so awesome to win. I should know as I was ever so fortunate to win one in the Dresden Challenge. All the details can be found here.
To enter to win the templates leave a comment. Follow my blog and let me know in the comments for a second chance. I will pick a winner on Monday. Good luck everyone! Make sure you follow the blog hop. More chances to win and get your own creative juices flowing as you hear from these talented ladies and their ideas.

I have always wanted to make a DWR quilt!
A quilt appraiser once mentioned that the Double Wedding Ring is the very most common, traditional quilt. I suppose because it was a perfect use of scraps to create something so beautiful. I know my parents had one on their bed that great-grandma had made for them. I've tried my hand at a couple of blocks on two separate group quilts, so now I think it's time to try one of my own.
I want to try out this challenge love it.
I hdont have that template tool
I love these quilts! They look difficult but I love a good challenge!
