Fabric Journal covers

Do you journal?  Do you know people who do?  Then my newest YouTube video is for you.

These journal covers are fast and easy.  The simple fabric cover just needs two fat quarters and your ready to go.  You can also choose to piece and/or quilt your cover.  I personally like to piece mine.  It’s a fun way to bust through some scraps and make a nice gift.  Here are just a few of the ones I’ve given away over the years.

I like to use a composition book.  The graph paper ones are great to give to your quilting friends.  They make a fun doodle and sketch book.  Hope you have fun with these.  Remember to share them with me on Facebook or @emsscrapbag on Instagram.  I love to see what you create!  Now here’s the video.

Wow! I thought making a journal cover was a lot more involved. I had no idea how easy it is to make one. Guess I know what I’m doing later today!! 🙂 Thanks so much for the video. It’s so much easier to see how things are put together than to just read it, step by step, and try to figure it out. I haven’t been a subscriber for long, but so glad I found you!! Blessings!!
