December is right around the corner. Christmas will soon be here. Are you looking for gift ideas for your quilting friends? Let me help you.
I know that many of my quilting friends also enjoy doing puzzles. My family enjoys doing puzzles the week between Christmas and New Years. Wouldn’t it be fun to do a quilt themed puzzle. Connecting Threads and Annie’s both have a nice collection of quilt themed puzzles. I thought this new puzzle by Lori Holt through Riley Blake would be a fun make. Not to hard. And very cute.

Another fun gift idea for the quilter in your life is a cute way for them to display their quilts. I have loved when friends and family have given me a quilt stand. I have various sizes, from table stands for mini quilts to larger ones like this one my dad made for me a few years ago. He even hung it for me. Now that’s a gift! Find a nice collection of quilt stands at Connecting Threads.
I’ve also enjoyed when my friends have given me cute tins to store buttons and other notions in. I like the fun quilting feel they add as I decorate with them in my sewing room. I’ve received them filled with candy or sewing notions. Both make a wonderful gift.
Another great quilter gift is an enamel pin. I know lots of quilters collect them. They put them on their lanyards, jackets and bags. I thought this pin I found at the Fat Quarter Shop was adorable. Not to mention being perfect for a quilter.
Zipper pouches, and other bags are fun to fill and give. You can make your own. Nothing says I care about you like an homemade gift. Or purchase a pre made one. Fat Quarter Shop and Connecting Threads have a great selection.
Have fun shopping for your friends. Or send a link to your hubby so he has ideas of what you might like. Either way, enjoy your holiday season.
