Moving it Forward

I had leftover made fabric (find my tutorial for this here) from my Love One Another word play.  So I made me some wonky hearts.  More on these later in the week.

I’m continuing on with my 100 blocks in 100 days.  Here is block 34.  Love how it looks against the foliage of my garden.  My garden is keeping me busy.  In addition to finding uses for my zucchini. I’ve been making pesto with my basil and oregano.  Plus enjoying cucumbers and cherry tomatoes in my salads.  I even have a couple of tomatoes that are almost ready.  Really excited for those!

I also got this fun fat quarter bundle of Scarlet and Sage by Fig Tree & Co.  I have some pretty exciting plans for it. I can barley wait to dive in.

Now I want to see what you’re up to.  Link up and share the progress you are making in your sewing room.

I love the stack of fat quarters. These bundles are my favorite to look at and to use, I can never purchase just one though. The oldest fabric in my drawer is a bag of 6 fq bundles. For now I am enjoying their stacked beauty. Cute hears and block 34.

    Great idea for made fabric!

My tomatoes are almost ripe too! Been eating lots of cherry tomatoes, though!

I can't wait to see what you do with the Scarlet & Sage! How did you get that? It says a November delivery at Fat Quarter Shop. Just wondering!

Those Love One Another blocks are darling. The mix of prints is so much more interesting than a single fabric heart would be!
