I had my Quilty Hug sew in this week.  Marilyn pieced most of the blocks for this little scrap quilt.  I had found a fun ocean print in my donated fabric.  It was just over a half yard.  I cut it into 10″ squares.  Then added 2 1/2″ strips to the remaining 8″ to make them 10″ Next I pulled green and blue prints from my scrap bins.

When I put it up on the design wall to see the progress Marilyn had made.  I loved it!  It was so close to being a top.  I took the afternoon to finish it up.  Now to get it basted and quilted.

I also met with Cathy.  She generously donated all the quilts you see below plus a few more to Quilty Hugs.  I am so grateful for her loving kindness.  These beauties will bring so much comfort and hope.  I was good to meet with Cathy again.  We did the same thing last year.  She is hoping to be able to join my quilting angels from time to time at our sew ins.  Isn’t that awesome!?

Now I want to see what you’re moving forward.  Link up and show us your progress over the past week.
