Do you remember these plus blocks? I think I might be a little in love with them. I’m so happy I chose to do a scrappy background. Not only did it put a small dent in a scrap bin. I love the interest the different blues and grays add to the quilt.
In addition to finishing the plus blocks I ended up taking the dark centered star out of my baby quilt and added a pretty little pink one. I really need to get busy finishing this quilt. The sweet little baby it’s for decided to come two weeks early. She just couldn’t wait to make an appearance. I’m hoping by the end of the week to have her, her quilt.
It’s Monday again. How does that happen so quickly? Looking forward to seeing what each of you are moving forward. Link up and let us see.
You've making a lot of progress moving quilts forward. Both projects look great, but I especially like the stars. Babies do have a tendency to disrupt a normal schedule.
Love quilts!
Love your Quilts!
I really like that Plus quilt. It's rare to see a Plus quilt with sashing; that and the scrappy palette give it a lot more interest.
Good call to swap out the dark star for the pink.
The stars are looking terrific. I bet that little darling will love her quilt — in about 2 years when she can figure more things out! I really like your plus block. I have this thing for plus quilts right now. I made one and I'm hoping I'm over the obsession but I doubt it!
I love the plus quilt. Sometimes quilts made from scraps turn out the best. Thank you for the linky party. Denise@fortheloveofgeese
I think scrappy backs add so much interest. Thanks for hosting the linky.
Both quilts are fantastic.
Loving that plus quilt so much–so beautiful hugs, Julierose
I think you made the right decision to change out that dark star. I love your plus sign quilt!
Those plus blocks really look great. I like the backgrounds too.
Your plus blocks are awesome-they really caught my eye!
