I recently purchased a bunch of lovely solids. After all they are the basic of the month at the Fat Quarter shop. I’ll share more on my purchase later in the week. But among my rainbow of solids I bought this lovely gray. I do love gray as a background. Especially with for happy bright fabrics. I used my Go cutter to cut a bunch of 3 1/2″ squares. Then dove into my bits bin to start chaining
these cut little wonky maverick stars. No real plan for them but I know something great will come from this scrappy play. Even if it’s just a little fun sewing time.
Now it’s your turn. What play have you been enjoying in your sewing room? Link up and share. We all want to see.
I like your stars in the grey background.

i like gray as well…plus easier on the eyes than black when hand quilting…
love your wonky stars
Nice stars!
Fun stars. I'm sure you will come up with something interesting for them!
Oh i'm making Maverick Stars, too–using up my 2.5" squares–i have a lot of Fall colors it seems of them so, going with those and a fussy cut center…hugs, Julierose
Your stars look so cheery against the grey. Good choice.
Pretty stars! I've noticed that grey seems to be the "new white"…it looks cute! Thank you for sharing!
