I was thrilled to get to be part of the Missouri Star Birthday Bash. I met the nicest people. Had fun shopping and seeing the sights.
When I arrived there was an excitement in the air. As I drove down the main street looking for a place to park, I could barely wait to visit all the different shops. Once I parked, I headed down the street. The first shop I came to was, Hometown Leatherworks. Where I had fun making a key fob for me and one for my daughter in law.
Next I headed to Fabric Market to share my new book, Scrap Quilts with a giveaway. Congrats to Toina, the lucky winner!
After the giveaway I headed to the Missouri Quilt Museum for a tour. Outside the museum you can see the largest spool of thread.
Inside be sure to enjoy the collection of toy sewing machines and mini quilts.
After my tour I had a delightful time perusing all the other shops. So much eye candy. I love the solids shop, the man cave and the embroidery. I’m looking forward to doing more projects like these.
If you ever get a chance, I’d recommend going to Missouri Star.
