Partial Seams Made Easy

Partial seams may be a technique that scares some quilters.  It shouldn’t it’s really quite easy.  In fact I’ve created a new YouTube video to show you how.

Once you add this skill to your quilting tool belt you will open a world of possibilities on new patterns you can make.  Like my newest design, Twisted Star, found in the newest issue of McCalls Quilting.

Or my jellyroll friendly Linked pattern.  Where it comes in handy creating these interlocking links.

Or Dahlia, a layer cake friendly play on the majestic mountain block.  Victoria Fndlay Wolfe’s herringbone pattern also uses this method.

Like I said, a world of possibilities.  Here is the video.
Find great prices on jellyrolls, layer cakes and more at the Fat Quarter Shop.  I like to peruse the sale items after I’ve found my needed items.  It’s so much better to pay for fabric than shipping.   Bluprint is also having a sale 50% of EVERYTHING!  Stock up now and save.
