The holidays are upon us. You probably don’t want to start a big project. But you may be looking for some mindless, stress free sewing to help you unwind from the holiday rush. I’ve got the perfect solution! This simply easy scrap quilt has no seams to match. It is pre cut friendly. So if like me you don’t like cutting you can skip that part and use charm squares. But it also lends itself well to scraps. I like to cut mine on the AccuQuilt Go with the 5″ square die. 
This quilt goes together quickly. I’ve used it to make a quick baby quilt. (More baby quilt ideas) Because it is so easy to make I’ve taught young women to make it as a service project. Each girl sewed a row. Then we sewed the rows together. With no seams to match it didn’t matter if their seam allowance was a little off. The quilt still came together beautifully. Unlike other group quilts I’ve made. Where I’ve had to resort to these tactics to make the quilt bocks come together.
