Use A Sew Along to Build Your Quilting Skills

A sew along is a great way to improve your quilting skills. Sewing with friends even if virtually is always a joy. The structure of a sew along gives some accountability to keep us moving forward. It gives a safe environment to learn new skills. If the sew along is around a sampler quilt, many techniques can be learned and explored.

I’m excited to announce a fun sew along through Quiltmaker. Did you know

You are totally welcome to make yours completely scrappy. I’m choosing the scrappy route. While choosing to include red in each block.

If you’re looking for another sew along it’s not to late to join my Smooth Sailing Sew Along. You will learn foundation piecing, curved piecing, as well as a little improvisational piecing. All while creating a fun beach themed quilt. It’s sure to bring a little sunshine through the dull winter months.

In addition to Smooth Sailing you’ll also have access to all the blocks in September Sun. Plus lots of smaller bonus projects. All designed to improve your quilting skills. All these goodies for a small monthly fee. Designed to enable you to take part in all the sew along fun. While enabling you to opt out when life gets busy.
