Conquer Your Fabric Scraps This Year

If your scrap bins are causing you more stress than joy.  Or you just want to keep those leftover fabric pieces from taking over.  Here are some suggestions to help you conquer your fabric scraps.

The first step is to get some order to the chaos.  Afterall it’s hard to use what you don’t know you have.   I use this method.  Bonnie Hunter also has a method that works for many people.  I don’t like to cut.  So her method doesn’t work for me.  The important thing is to find a method that works for you.  Otherwise you won’t stick with it.  And you’ll end up back at chaos.organized by color scrap bins with scrappy love pillow

Once you know what you have.  Then you can look for ideas on how to use it.  If scrappy strips and strings fill your bins.  Try these ideasBright scrappy quarter log cabin quilt

Whereas if your bins are mostly fat quarters with chunks cut out.  You’ll love these ideas. Scrappy bear paw quilt in muted colors
