Doors for Discovering Hidden Quilts closed yesterday. Thank you everyone who signed up. I’m excited to share my love of scrap quilting with you. I can’t wait to see the quilts you will discover in your scraps and stash. Scrap quilts and scrap quilting are one of my favorite things. Along that line I thought I would share five more favorite things in this post.
Favorite Post
First up everyone’s favorite post. This may be due to the time of year we find ourselves in. Fall is a favorite of mine. How about you? Any who, according to Pinterest and Google Analytics, 15 Fabulous Fall Projects gets the most hits saves and likes. If you haven’t checked it out. Or are looking to do some fun fall sewing. Make sure you check it out.
Favorite Place
Next I wanted to share the upcoming sew along. We are finishing up September Sun next week. It’s been another fun fall themed quilt. The new sew along quilt is themed around one of my favorite places, the beach. Meet Smooth Sailing. I had so much fun designing it. I’ve had even more fun making the blocks. When you join the sew along you will receive a new block each week with pdf download pattern and a video tutorial. In addition, any instructions needed to progress your quilt. Plus you will have access to all the block patterns from the previous sew along and bonus content that uses those blocks. It’s a great way to build your skills. Interested? Sign up here.
Pattern, Tutorial & Video
As far as favorites among my patterns it was a close race. Gradation and Seven Sisters are almost tied. Depending on how you look at it. Gradation has the most likes. Seven Sisters has the most sales. I couldn’t pick a favorite. That would be like having a favorite child. So you’ll have to decide.
The tutorial getting the most love at the moment is; Time Saving Tip for Scrap Quilting. This doesn’t surprise me. I use it all the time. It’s a great way to make it look like you spent a lot of time piecing pretty little strips sets without spending the time.
It may be no surprise that the most popular video resulted in my book, Crumb Quilts. I’m in awe at the response. Thank you everyone for supporting me. I hope it helps you create a few favorites of your own.
I can’t wait foamy copy of your book to arrive!
“for my”
I would love the pattern “Seven Sisters”. I am one of seven girls in my family (plus two boys!) and I have always wanted to make something to celebrate that.
Sounds like the pattern would be a perfect fit. You can find the pattern in my shop. Here’s the link, https://www.etsy.com/shop/AuntEmsPlace
